Hi, I’m Sig!
Hi! I’m Sig Shue — a merle Great Dane puppy, bedtime-story narrator, and very enthusiastic snuggler from the valleys of East Tennessee. If you’re looking for warm, cozy children’s stories told from a puppy’s point of view, you’re in the right spot!
This page is all about who I am, what inspires my stories, and how my adventures turn into Puppy Bedtime Stories.
About Sig Shue, Great Dane Puppy Bedtime Story Narrator
Hi! I’m Sig, a merle Great Dane puppy who lives in the foothills of the Clinch Mountain Range in East Tennessee. I was born in March 2025 to parents Emory (Emmy) and Coal with nine brothers and sisters!
A couple months later, I got to go home with a friendly man and woman and started getting spoiled right away. I learned that my new Mom was still very sad about losing her Great Dane Remington, so I started giving her cuddles and kisses to help her feel better.
I’ve also been working hard to learn some very important puppy jobs, like:
- sniffing absolutely everything
- following Mom everywhere she goes
- supawvising football games with Dad
- inspecting bugs outside
- and occasionally relocating sticks from the burn pile
I may be a growing Great Dane (you can read more about my breed on the AKC website!), but I’m still a curious “little” guy with a big heart and an even bigger head full of ideas.
Life With a Great Dane Puppy
Great Danes are often called gentle giants, and I try very hard to live up to that name.
Even though I’m already very tall and still growing, my favorite things are simple puppy comforts:
- long naps (especially belly-up on a fuzzy blanket)
- exploring the yard and watching the valley
- following my family around the house
- snuggling close at the end of the day
When I’m not napping or investigating the outdoors, I’m usually thinking about stories.
How My Stories Begin
I love telling bedtime stories.
I don’t type yet — Mom helps with that part — but I share my stories by wagging really hard, thinking very loudly, and thumping my tail when she gets the rhymes just right.
Most of my tales are about the things I love best:
- food
- naps
- the outdoors
- adventures with my big brother Magnum and my sister Beretta
My stories help me understand the world and remember all the gentle, cozy moments that make my tail swish.
Sometimes I write about our walks in the valley, where the breezes smell like flowers and fresh grass. Sometimes I write about learning something new, or being gentle, or being brave. But mostly, I write so pups and people can feel warm, safe, and loved when they fall asleep.
The Puppy Bedtime Stories Books
So far I’ve written four bedtime story collections, and I still have lots more stories inside me. (My head is very big. Mom says that’s where all the ideas grow.)
If you want to explore my stories, you can visit the Books page to see my first four collections for Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer. The Sig Dreams and Sig Works collections are planned to be available later this year.
And if you’d like to say hello or send a message, you can do that on my Contact page.
Love,
Sig 🐾

Thanks for reading my stories. I’m really glad you’re here.
